2.5 Litres of Drop Cloth No.283 in Farrow & Ball Exterior Eggshell, the brand's low-sheen finish for exterior wood and metal, bringing a smooth, refined look to front doors, trims and garden structures. Formulated with UV and weather protection, it is flexible and water resistant, and when applied in line with Farrow & Ball's Product Advice Sheets it resists flaking, peeling and chalking for up to six years.

Where to use: exterior wood and metal, including front doors, trims, wooden cladding, fences and garden structures. Not recommended for pressure-treated or tanalised fences.

Preparation: prime exterior wood with Farrow & Ball Wood Primer & Undercoat and metal with Farrow & Ball Metal Primer & Undercoat, then apply two coats of Exterior Eggshell. Cast iron needs a specialist primer.

Coverage and drying: up to 13m² per litre per coat, so this 2.5 litre tin covers about 32m² per coat. Dry in 2 hours and recoat after 4 hours.
