Stony Ground started life as an incredibly popular Farrow & Ball wallpaper colour, and today is a welcome addition to its range of neutral paint colours. It's a traditional stony beige with a slight hint of red, which gives it a subtle warmth and tangible depth.

About Modern Emulsion

2.5 Litres of Stony Ground No.211 in Farrow & Ball Modern Emulsion, the brand's super-tough matt finish for interior walls and ceilings. With a 7% sheen level, it is washable and wipeable, scuff and stain resistant and protected against mould, making it especially suited to kitchens, bathrooms and busy areas of the home.

Where to use: interior walls and ceilings, including moisture-prone kitchens and bathrooms. Not for use in shower enclosures or on surfaces in direct contact with water.

Coverage and drying: up to 12m² per litre per coat, so this 2.5 litre tin covers up to 30m² per coat. Two coats are recommended (darker or stronger colours may need more). Dry in 2 hours and recoat in 4 hours; allow longer in cool or humid conditions.
