Sloe Blue is a mid-toned blue with a hint of black pigment, giving it the characteristic depth and muted quality that make many of Farrow & Ball's blues so popular. Deeper than Oval Room Blue and lighter than Inchyra Blue, it makes a wonderfully distinctive interior wall colour, as well as looking great on exterior woodwork.

Where to use: exterior brick, render, concrete, terracotta and stucco. Not suitable for highly alkaline surfaces (such as lime render or walls previously coated with silicate or mineral paint), very porous surfaces or Fletton bricks.

Apply two coats of Exterior Masonry when air and surface temperatures are between 10°C and 30°C.

Coverage and drying: up to 8m² per litre per coat, so this 5 litre tin covers up to 40m² per coat. Dry in 2 hours and recoat after 5 hours.
