Skimming Stone is a light grey with subtle lilac undertones, which give it just the right amount of warmth while still feeling contemporary. Due to its warmer tone, it's a great grey for bedrooms, and makes a wonderful addition to any room alongside Farrow & Ball classic Elephant's Breath, its darker accent.

About Modern Emulsion

5 Litres of Skimming Stone No.241 in Farrow & Ball Modern Emulsion, the brand's super-tough matt finish for interior walls and ceilings. With a 7% sheen level, it is washable and wipeable, scuff and stain resistant and protected against mould, making it especially suited to kitchens, bathrooms and busy areas of the home.

Where to use: interior walls and ceilings, including moisture-prone kitchens and bathrooms. Not for use in shower enclosures or on surfaces in direct contact with water.

Coverage and drying: up to 12m² per litre per coat, so this 5 litre tin covers up to 60m² per coat. Two coats are recommended (darker or stronger colours may need more). Dry in 2 hours and recoat in 4 hours; allow longer in cool or humid conditions.
