Rust-Oleum 5190 Epoxy Repair Mortar Deep Fill Dark Grey 25kg

Rust-Oleum 5190 Deep Fill is a very strong epoxy repair mortar for quick, economical repair of deep holes in concrete floors, in a 25 kg all-in-one pack.

Where to use it

Deep holes of 15–100 mm. Overlay with 5180 Epoxy Repair Mortar in very heavy wear areas, where the repair is less than 15 mm thick, or where a smoother surface is needed (5190 has a textured surface).

Technical details

• Theoretical consumption 0.5 m² per 25 kg at 3 cm depth
• Pot life 30 minutes; working life half to one hour; recoat 6–12 hours; fully cured 12 hours (20°C)
• Compressive strength 15.4 MN/m²
• Mix the granular resin and curing agent very thoroughly on a board (part packs not recommended); trowel firmly against the substrate
• Apply at 10–35°C, humidity below 85%, substrate 3°C above dew point; 10°C and below stops curing
• Clean tools with Thinner 160

Preparation

Concrete must be at least four weeks old, dry, and free from coatings, contaminants and loose material. Abrade very smooth concrete or soft laitance to give a profile; remove oil and grease with ND14, wash off and let dry completely.
