Rust-Oleum 7200 Floorcoat PU - Tinted Colours

Rust-Oleum 7200 Floorcoat PU, a hard-wearing single-pack floor coating with added polyurethane, tinted to order in gloss or satin.

Where to use it

Directly on interior or exterior concrete floors, wooden floors and masonry that are completely clean and dry, and over old, well-adhering coatings. Metal floors must be prepared and primed with a suitable Rust-Oleum metal primer. Not recommended on smooth or dense concrete, concrete with a damp-repellent additive, highly alkaline substrates, or areas constantly under water.

Preparation and application

• Remove oil and grease with Rust-Oleum ND14 Cleaner/Degreaser or steam cleaning; sand old coatings and check compatibility.
• Concrete must be at least 28 days old with moisture below 6%. On porous concrete, apply a first coat thinned about 5% with Thinner 633. Remove curing compounds by dust-free blasting or etching with Surfa-Etch 108.
• Apply at 5–30°C, humidity below 85%, surface 3°C above dew point, in a dry, well-ventilated area.
• Brush or roller: thin sparingly (max. 5%) with Thinner 633; rolling may need 2 coats. Air-atomised spray: max. 10% Thinner 641.
• Clean equipment straight after use with Thinner 633.
