Rust-Oleum 9100 High Performance Epoxy, tinted to your colour and supplied as a complete 5 litre kit of base and activator.

Key features

  • High build two-pack gloss epoxy: 125 µm dry per coat, about twice a regular epoxy
  • Very resistant to abrasion and chemicals
  • High amount of rust inhibitors; corrosion class C4
  • For both metal and floors

Where to use it

On manually prepared rusted steel; new, blasted or primed steel; concrete; and compatible previously coated surfaces. It protects against strong chemicals, acids, alkalis and solvents, frequent spillage and chemical cleaning, and high humidity. Primers: 9169, 9170 or 9180 on metal; 5401 or 5421 on porous mineral surfaces; 3333 on very dense surfaces such as ceramic tiles. For UV resistance, Rust-Oleum recommends a 9200 or 9600 polyurethane topcoat.

Colour advice

Contact with water or chemicals can cause discolouration, especially in machine-tinted colours. Use bases and activators from the same batch across a project. For floors under heavy abrasion Rust-Oleum recommends standard and medium colours; with deep or bright tones (red, yellow, orange, green, blue etc.) a clear polyurethane varnish should be applied.
