Mathys Fillcoat Fibres is an instantly waterproof, elastic paint containing crack-bridging fibres, for direct repairs to roofs, gutters, ridges, chimney stacks, pipes and non-walkable terraces.

Where to use it
After cleaning, apply directly onto bituminous substrates, hard PVC, polyester, zinc, aluminium, glass and tiles. Porous materials (concrete, stone, wood) must be dried and primed with Primer 44HS. On repeatedly repaired spots or significant or active cracks, brush crosswise over the cracks. Recoatable with Dacfill, Coating PRT or Dacfill HZ. Never apply to polystyrene insulation or to concrete less than 2 years old, and do not use it as a primer under Dac Hydro Alu.
Technical details
- Theoretical coverage 1 m²/litre at 430 µm dry (1000 µm wet)
- Touch dry 4 hours; recoat after 3–14 days with the same product, or 6 weeks with a paint; fully cured 3 weeks
- Satin finish; density 1.01 g/cm³; VOC 485 g/l
- Brush, do not dilute; clean up with Thinner 22 or white spirit
Preparation
Carefully remove dust, mud, grease, moss and dead leaves; clean the repair area with a hard broom and sponge.
