Mathys Murfill Quartz is a long-lasting, elastic and waterproof wall protection with a quartz texture.

Where to use it

Coating and waterproofing of walls and facades on masonry, concrete, brick and cellular concrete. It can be recoated with water-based paints such as Murfill Quartz, Murfill or Paracem.

Technical details

• Consumption 1–2.5 kg/m² (about 1 mm dry at 2.5 kg/m²)
• Touch dry about 4 hours; handle about 7 hours (1 kg/m²); recoat 24 hours (20°C)
• Square brush, perforated foam or long-pile roller, or low-pressure worm-pump spray (3–4 mm nozzle); do not dilute
• Apply above 5°C and below 80% humidity
• Matt finish; VOC max. 10 g/l; clean up with water

Preparation

Apply directly on sound old paintwork after thorough brushing. Treat chalking surfaces with Pegafix after high-pressure cleaning. Prime new porous materials with Primer 44HS or Pegafix; smooth non-porous surfaces with Noxyde diluted 25% with water or with Pegalink. Fill cracks under 0.5 mm with Murfill, wider cracks with Elastofill or Mur-Filler, and bridge active cracks with Murfill fleece.
