Mathys Murfill Waterproofing Coating is a semi-thick facade coating that is waterproof, breathable and resistant to active cracking, supplied here in 15 kg pails.

Where to use it
Coating and waterproofing of walls and facades, protecting them against water infiltration, spalling, cracking and natural soiling.
Technical details
- 300–600 g/m² per coat depending on method and substrate; over 1.3 kg/m² with fleece
- Touch dry 45 minutes; handle about 8 hours; recoat 24 hours; fully cured about 2 days (20°C)
- Brush or roller undiluted, applied in a thick coat; airless with 2–5% water if needed (nozzle 18–23, 200 bar)
- Apply above 5°C and below 80% humidity
- Semi-matt finish; VOC max. 25 g/l; clean up with water
Preparation
Apply directly on sound old paintwork after thorough brushing. Treat chalking paints or substrates with Primer 44HS, or with Pegafix where the old coat is affected by 44HS solvents. Prime new porous materials with Primer 44HS or Pegafix; smooth non-porous surfaces with white Pegalink or Noxyde Plus diluted 20% with water. Fill cracks under 0.5 mm with Murfill, wider cracks with Elastofill or Mur-Filler; bridge active cracks with Murfill fleece.
