Rust-Oleum Mathys Primer 44HS 5L

Rust-Oleum Mathys Primer 44HS is a ready-to-use, single-pack binding primer based on chlorinated rubber that improves the adhesion of coatings on porous mineral surfaces.

Technical details

• Ready for use: do not dilute
• Brush, roller (all types) or airless (nozzle 011–013, 150–170 bar)
• Touch dry and handle 1 hour; recoat 24 hours (20°C, 50% RH)
• Theoretical coverage 14 m²/litre (70 µm wet, 23 µm dry); practical 10–15 m²/litre
• Apply above 5°C and below 80% RH in a dry, well-ventilated area
• Clean equipment with Thinner 22
• Reversible system: dissolves in its own solvent. VOC 599 g/l

Important

Clean and degrease the surface first. Do not apply over acrylic paint, which is affected by the solvents in Primer 44HS; Rust-Oleum recommends Pegafix in that case.
