Rust-Oleum Speed Patch Pourable Grade Concrete Repair Grey 25kg

Speed Patch Pourable Grade is an easy-to-mix, quick-setting pourable material for fast repairs to level concrete, inside or outside.

• Easy to prepare: add water and mix
• Can be applied on slightly wet (damp, not wet) concrete
• Sets at low temperatures (5°C)
• For deep or shallow repairs from 5 to 100 mm

Where to use it

Repairs to heavily trafficked level floors. Properly mixed, it self-levels and needs minimal trowelling. Thin edges can be feathered in lightly trafficked areas but are not recommended for medium or heavy traffic. Because it pours, it is not suitable for sloping floors or exposed edges. Once cured it can be painted with any suitable floor paint.

Technical details

• Each 25 kg unit covers approximately 0.5 m² at 25 mm thick
• Mixing ratio powder : water 3 : 1 by volume; pot life 5–10 minutes; handle 2 hours; fully cured 24 hours (20°C)
• Compressive strength 45 MN/m²
• Apply at about 5–20°C, never below 5°C; below 10°C curing is slower (allow 24 hours at 5°C)
• Remove excess with a cloth or scraper and wash tools with water before it sets

Preparation and mixing

The substrate should be clean and free from oil, contaminants and loose material; wire brush if possible, and cut repair edges to depth in heavy wear areas. Mix near the repair: put the water in the empty bucket, gradually add the powder while stirring to a pourable slurry (by hand for small amounts, slow-speed drill mixer for larger), pour immediately and do not re-stir.
