Zinsser AllCoat Commercial Water Based - Tinted Colours

Zinsser AllCoat Commercial (water-based), tinted to the colour you choose, is a multi-surface primer, sealer and finish for interior use, previously sold as AllCoat Interior Water Based. It is made for large commercial jobs and is ideally suited to airless spraying, and one coat is all that is needed to cover and seal most surfaces.

It is self-sealing and dries with very low odour, which makes it ideal for big wall and ceiling areas, and it is widely used to refurbish suspended ceiling tiles and frames in places like supermarkets and car showrooms. It also makes a great undercoat for enamel topcoats: it resists grain raise on new wood and sands to a crisp powder within 1 hour.

Where to use it

Interior surfaces including new cured plaster, plasterboard, cement, poured concrete and stucco; wood or metal doors, windows, panelling and trim; aluminium, clean galvanised metal, PVC, glossy laminates, and suspended ceiling tiles and frames.

Technical details

• Finish: flat matt
• Coverage: approximately 10 m² per litre
• Drying (21°C): touch dry 30 minutes, recoat 1 hour, full cure 3–5 days
• Application: synthetic brush, roller, pad or airless sprayer (.015"–.017" tip)
• Ready to use; can be thinned up to 10% with clean water
• Apply at 10–32°C air and surface temperature, humidity below 85%
• Clean up with warm soapy water

Not suitable for: exterior use, floors, or surfaces subject to immersion or prolonged contact with water.
