Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Solvent Based Gloss - Tinted Colours

Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Gloss (Solvent Based), tinted to your colour. A mould-resistant high-gloss paint designed for all exterior surfaces, ideal for new or previously painted wood, metal, cladding, uPVC, stucco, brick, stone, cured concrete and more.

Its silicon alkyd formula protects against rain and severe weather, and it dries even at low temperatures, so it can be used all year round.

Technical details

• Finish: gloss (sheen level 90% at 60°)
• Touch dry 4 hours, hard dry and recoatable after 16 hours, full adhesion and hardness in 7 days (21°C)
• Coverage up to 10 m² per litre on non-porous surfaces; two coats normally, plus an extra coat on sills and fascias
• Solids by volume 65%; SG 1.15–1.20 kg/litre
• Apply by synthetic bristle brush, roller or sprayer (airless .017" tip, 2000–2500 psi) at 5–32°C and under 85% humidity
• Clean up with white spirit; VOC max 300 g/l

Preparation and priming

Surfaces should be clean, dry and sound, with all mould, mildew, loose paint and chalky residue removed and a moisture content of no more than 12%. Previously painted surfaces take two coats directly; abrade and degrease very hard or glossy surfaces first. On new or bare concrete, masonry, brick, uPVC and metal, prime with Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3; on bare wood, prime with Zinsser Cover Stain and spot-prime knots with Zinsser B-I-N. Abrade, degrease and prime powder coatings with Bulls Eye 1-2-3.

Not suitable for: exterior floors, decks or any surface subject to water immersion or prolonged contact with water.
