Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Satin (Solvent Based), tinted to the colour you specify. A high-performance all-surface paint for the long-term decoration of timber, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete and cladding, forming a low-maintenance, water-shedding coating.

It is ideal for redecorating and protecting paintable exterior surfaces: building cladding such as Plastisol and uPVC, wood, steelwork including girders, fencing and railings, and masonry.

Performance

  • Can be applied down to 5°C
  • Resistant to showers after 1 hour
  • Recoat time 3 hours
  • Weather resistant, with excellent colour retention
  • Contains a biocide to protect the dried coating against fungal degradation
  • 15 year lifetime – the film is designed to resist cracking, peeling and blistering for up to 15 years before first maintenance

Suitable surfaces

New or previously painted wood, uPVC, galvanising, steel, aluminium, cladding, stucco, brick, stone, cured concrete, Plastisol and more.

Preparation

Abrade and degrease very hard or glossy painted surfaces and unweathered Plastisol or powder coatings, thoroughly degrease new galvanised steel, and allow new plaster, cement and stucco 60–90 days to cure. Spot-prime knots and sap streaks with Zinsser B-I-N.

Not suitable for: exterior floors, decks or any surface subject to water immersion. Close the container after each use to prevent skinning.
